“In the Knesset Committee I heard that a budget had been put aside for childcare facilities in East Jerusalem but it wasn’t approved,” says Doa Abu Maadi from the WAC-MAAN nursery staff group. “I don’t know what they did with it, perhaps it’s stuck in the town hall offices. Let us work in nurseries and enable other women to work!”
