After the management refused to enter negotiations, a labor dispute was declared in August. In an apparent attempt to avoid a strike, owner and manager Mr. Ariel Nahum agreed to negotiate: the first meeting was held in September and a second in November. -
Israeli labor leader allies with extreme Right

Mr. Elkin serves currently as the Minister of Jerusalem Affairs in Netanyahu's government and is considered to be a spokesperson for the extreme right wing. Nissenkorn's reason for supporting the settler leader is unclear on the face of things. -
